Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Virtual Pet ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Virtual Pet, you confirm that:

You are at least 13 years old (or have parental consent)
You have read and understood these Terms
You agree to comply with all applicable laws

If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. License Grant

JD Studio grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Virtual Pet for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

You MAY:

Play the game on your personal devices
Share screenshots and gameplay videos
Back up your save data using built-in features

You MAY NOT:

Copy, modify, distribute, or sell the App
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use cheats, exploits, bots, or automation tools
Modify save files with external tools (except built-in import)
Use the App for commercial purposes without written permission
Remove copyright notices or watermarks

3. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Use offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate names or avatars
Impersonate other players or JD Studio staff
Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
Post content that violates laws or third-party rights
Attempt to hack, DDoS, or disrupt the App's servers

⚠️ Warning: Violation of these rules may result in:

Removal from leaderboard
Ban from multiplayer features
Permanent account termination

4. In-App Purchases

4.1 Virtual Currency

Virtual Pet offers in-app purchases of virtual currency (coins, diamonds). These are not real currency and have no monetary value outside the App.

4.2 Non-Refundable

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policy.

4.3 Account Termination

If your account is terminated for violating these Terms, you forfeit all virtual currency without refund.

5. Advertisements

Virtual Pet displays advertisements from Google AdMob. Ad revenue supports ongoing app development and free content.

You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings, but ads will still be shown (non-personalized).

6. Leaderboard & User Data

When you use the global leaderboard, the following data is publicly visible:

Your chosen display name
Your avatar
Your high scores

Do NOT use your real name, phone number, email, or any personal information as your display name.

                💡 Tip: Use a fun username like "PetLover99" or "FurryFriend" instead of personal info.
            

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Uninterrupted or error-free operation

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JD Studio shall NOT be liable for any:

Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of data, profits, or revenue
Business interruption
Loss of virtual currency or items
Damages exceeding the amount you paid for the App (if any)

9. Data Backup

⚠️ Important: You are responsible for backing up your game data!

Uninstalling the App may delete local data
Use the built-in Backup & Restore feature regularly
Export save files to Google Drive or email for extra safety
JD Studio is NOT responsible for lost progress

10. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including:

Google Firebase (Analytics, Firestore, Authentication)
Google AdMob (Advertisements)
Google Play Services

Outages or issues with these services are outside JD Studio's control.

11. Updates & Changes

JD Studio may:

Release updates with new features or bug fixes
Modify or discontinue features without notice
Change virtual currency pricing
Update these Terms at any time

Continued use of the App after updates means acceptance of new Terms.

12. Termination

JD Studio may terminate your access to the App if you:

Violate these Terms
Engage in fraudulent activity
Abuse other players
Attempt to hack or exploit the App

Upon termination, your license to use the App is revoked.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through:

Friendly negotiation via email
Mediation if negotiation fails
Indonesian courts as last resort

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
